How did you get that tone? What settings/FX are you using? That sounds fantastic. I have a Stage 60 but I'm still messing around with getting my ideal tone from it.
Thanks!
I usually unplug the effects when I record, but this time I just left everything on.
I hit the front with a guyatone pedal compressor that blends dry signal to keep the attack intact.
it and the barber tone press are the only pedals that allow for parallel compression, and the guyatone is cheap.
The loop has an old Digitech TSR-12 running delay and eq (and sometimes pitch and shimmer effects)
and it then goes into a TC Electronic M-350 for long delay and long reverb.
both rack effects are mixed very low in the wet/dry mix
I mic with a sennheiser e609 and usually add another mic .......dynamic, ribbon, or condenser
to get more depth and character
when I record, I usually put the guitars on a buss and pull out the lows below 200hz
and pull out the highs above 10k, then can tune the midrange to sit in the mix
on that buss I add a send to a plate reverb and insert compression.

on this track the intro is OD1 on the neck pickup
the rhythm track at 1:30 is all 3 channels on separate tracks, clean in stereo panned center, OD1 panned right, OD2 panned left
the main melody part is OD1 both mics into 2 stereo channels, the left channel gets autotune the panned both channels hard L&R
the solo part is OD2 (played kinda sloppy haha) neck pickup and some extra buss compression. (ISF dimed out)

Awesome track! Some really good playing there and the tones are very representative of what the stage 60 can put out without much effort.
Well done + 1!

Hey Trinity
Great tone, love the style.
This is how it must be used I suppose
Really love your guitar technique, a bit of Satriani style?
