I'll admit right away I'm not that great... still learning. About 4 months into it after a 5 yr hiatus (with about a couple of years under my belt at that time). So very much a newb lol. Practice, practice, practice they say.

Anways... not sure this link will work. Just messing around to find some Metallica sounding tone with my new HT Club 40.

Oh, and recording merely with an iPhone. So sound quality is iffy at best.

The thing I like most when using the Variax through the vidmate amp is that you can hear the subtle nuances of each guitar model. I used to use Line 6 Flextone III, and that paired with the Line 6 Variax.
