1.7.6 update

How long does the update take? Is been 30 minutes and it doesn't seem like anything is happening. I have an ID 100 TVP head. Is the update necessary for this head?

The latest Insider version is actually 1.8.1.
That update stalled on my ID15TVP so I just turned the amp off, unplugged from the PC, tried again and it worked. Took about 5 minutes on the second try.
