HT Club 40 headphone use

I’m trying to use headphones on my HT Club 40. It says to use the emulated jack. When I do this I only get sound from the left side headphone. Is this an amp issue or a headphone issue?

You may need and adaptor, depending on what the connection is you already have on your headphones. You
