Sansamp psa 1

Any thoughts on psa 1 vs psa 1.1? Got the opportunity to own either, some say the original is better?
What do you guys reckon?

Shred - never played through one but i have heard good things about them - some folks claim they are noisy but i find that hard to believe
if they are set up correctly - they are popular with a lot of rack folks
