Does anyone know if Blackstar plan on releasing a side-by-side 2x12 instead of the one-higher, one-lower config they have in the HT-212 cabs? Would be an idea for a Series One 2x12 if they decided to go that route.

I keep asking for a Series One 2x12, I hate 4x12 cabs and detest the ugly tall one's Blackstar seem to love. My 1936 cab looks really sad under my 100 head.

Does anyone know much about the Celestion Neo 12" speakers in the Series One 212? How do they compare to the V30?

I have the Blackstar 212 with the Celestion Neodymium speakers but I can't say how they compare to the V30's. But soon you will be able to do the comparison because the 212 is swithching to V30 speakers (see the quickstart guide).
