Recently bought a HT-5 head and now I'm having a problem with it.
Sometimes when I start the amp there is no sound but when I turn the volume to almost full it starts working after few seconds.
And when I play the volume drops occasionally and again I have to turn the volume up for a moment to get the sound level back.
Any ideas what could be wrong with my amp? And if it matter I play at home with really small volume.

It sounds to me like you are not letting the valves warm up.
To operate a valve amp correctly you are supposed to turn the power on, and the the secondary switch to standby. Give it 30 seconds or more, then flick the standby off.
If you are just turn both swtiches straight to on the valves haven't warmed up yet, and that's why there's no sound for a moment, and it gradually fades in.
