I just got a blackstar Id core 150. Every other voicing channel works great except od1 and od2, when I hit a note the note will ring for 5 seconds then the amp sound stops, no more note and amp goes silent. Is that a defect or does the overdrive channels suppose to work that way ? There are also deadspot where I get no sound when hitting a note?! confused, how can the other voicing works the right way and OD1 and of2 don't, so I have a bum amp

If it's like the smaller ID: Core amps there's a noise gate on OD1 and ID2 it's also way too sensitive. Install the insider software on a PC and plug the amp in via usb, you'll then be able to turn the noise gate off.

Hopefully that'll cure your problem.

Cool. Is it working as it should now? If yes, then happy days. ;)

Can't believe BS hasn't addressed this problem in these new amps, it's been going on for ages throughout the ID: range. They should have added this as a switch on the actual amp rather than a software thing IMO. Because the amp is useless unless you can get it hooked up to a PC to turn that damn thing off. Should imagine the problem is even worse if you have a guitar with low output pickups installed.
