HT Stage 60 with HTV212 Mark II extension cab

So apparently the two speakers inside the HT Stage 60 212 MKII amp are both 16ohm individually, for a total 8ohm load, which is why the internal speakers are plugged into the 1x8ohm or 2x16ohm inputs. And the HTV212 specs page says that it's made for the venue series of amps, but both of the speakers are 8ohms individually, for either a 4 or 16ohm mono load. Someone please tell me how it is even possibly to run all 4 speakers without blowing the amp up?! Why is this so difficult?!
