I don't know much about recording stuff, I play mostly for fun. But I'm trying to help out a friend who asked me to record some guitars.
Problem is, my ID:Core 20 V2 is clipping a lot when recording (it is plugged on my computer via USB) and changing the volume doesn't seem to change anything while recording.
If I reduce the input sensitivity on the software or on Windows itself, the signal is lower but still clips, which leads me to believe the clipping is happening before the signal is recorded on my computer.
Any thoughts?
