Ok,
Hope you can help a noob shorten the length of my tone journey …
Like many, I get on again off again chances to practice due to work & kids. Been practicing / learning on a Fly 3 … great little amp.
BUT, I just picked ip a used HT5R Mkii and it sounds great. I have been messing around with the settings and it sounds awesome for the wee thing it is!!!
Can anyone lend advice / settings specific to this amp for getting great tones to approximate my guitar heroes ??
I welcome suggestions for any kind of music or artist: Country, Blues, Mostly Rock, Metal, Punk, Gilmour, Mike Ness, Dean Brody, Pack AD, Mellencamp, Seger, Hetfield, Angus Young, Hendrix, Ray Vaughan, Bachman, Van Halen, Jack White, Stapleton, Scholtz … oh … and my rock God … Gordie Johnson (a la heated / hemi-vision) … you get the idea …
I am playing: a crap Indonesian squire strat OR a Gibson LP Studio Smokehouse (N: 57 Classic / B: 57 Classic + & with Coil splitting push/pull)
Pedals: JHS Prestige, DS-1 (Japan), Soul Bender (Gremanium), PQ-4, Tech-21 American Woman & RP360-XP
