Whining sound from FLY 3

My amp will just start whining if I play with gain at 5 or higher. I disconnected it from the guitar thinking it might be my pickups but it'll still whine on its own for a while even after turning it off and on. Its battery powered since I don't have a power adaptor. Does anyone know If this is can be fixed or do I need to get a new amp
