HT Club 50 5 way footswitch issues

Has anyone ever figured out any successful fix for the FS-14 pedal not working? I've read one post on here about the pedal taking a few minutes to "program" itself to the amp head ( sound absolutely ridiculous and doesn't mention this anywhere in my manual) and this doesn't work for me. The pedal either turns on or doesnt, and recently it has not been turning on at all. I have to unplug and plug it in over and over till I finally see life. Sweetwater even sent me a 2nd FS-14 and its still having issues just turning on. I've owned multiple amp heads and Ive never had such issues with a channel pedal. Sweetwater is about to accept a return of my Club 50. I really like the tone and dont want to give it up. Someone please help me get this pedal to turn on.
