Blackstar Series One 6L6
Best thing of course is to check one out and give it a testride. Downside is that most of the time you can't compare it with what you realy want. I tried but was unable to get access to a 104 6L6. I made the leap anyway based on a couple of things like the ISF control, the 6L6 tubes, the price and the fact that those Blackstar guys came from the Marshall company with only one goal... Trying to make better amps!

So you got the Series One...glad you are diggin' it. Did you go new or used? Enjoy the amp!!

I ordered 2 for a band last April
after dozens of excuses, final word is they arrive at the distributor Jan 9. and I should have them by the end of the month.
I'm not exactly holding my breath on them arriving this month, but I certainly can't wait to try them out!
