Thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these. Would like a definitive answer as to whether it has bias trimpots or is fixed bias. I prefer to run my tubes a little warm.

Had issues with my beloved Marshall 6100 at practice last night so I need either a backup head that will cover my 6100 as my DSL50 will not. Maybe the Blackstar becomes my primary head

Yes. It is a fixed bias amp and thus it has trimpots. By definition, fixed bias means it's adjustable, in other words you "fix" the bias into place. So called self-biasing amps use cathode resistors to regulate the flow of bias current.

Yes , it has trimpots, I have and S 50 and it should read 50mV, Iguess for a S100 would be 100mv, I read somewhere too in this forum
