Hi Artisan owners. I have recently sold my ht40 and bought a artisan 15 combo. I found my ht had too much gain and wanted a more classic boutique tone. Can anyone recommend a good boost to push the second channel on the A15 into more drive or distortion with out colouring the tone? I'm not looking to increase the volume, just get more drive (thought not into metal territory). I haven't got loads to spend and was thinking of something like the Electro Harmonix LPB1. Any one tried one? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Sounds like I've joined the ranks of the purists. The OCD looks great but after buying the artisan it's out if my price range at the moment. I need a cheaper boost till I can afford one. Looking at up to 50 British pounds if anyone has a cheaper suggestion. Thanks for the OCD suggestion but it's just a step too far at the moment.

I got my OCD for $80 used. You may want to check that route...if possible. Craigslist is a great source, if you are able. You won't regret it.
