Artisan 30 combo with BB preamp!

Ok I've been experimenting with od and Distortion boxes for my artisan 30 yet none really did the natural sound of the amp justice (EHX is the only exception)
they consisted of

ts9 Reissues =ok

monte allums ts9 mod =way better, but still not there

DS1 monte allums mod = kinda cool really....yeah I know lol

austin gold = eh (works better on my pvy classics 30/50)

EHX english muff'n =really cool! natural tube OD very Dynamic gave the amp some major low end

BB preamp = my search over! then i put a compressor (pedal doc mod CS-3) before it for a boost and it sounded even more natural!

to give an idea of what sounds i'm looking for, my style is kinda Richie kotzen ish (not that i'm that good just an example ok lol) Just like to shred with the sounds of REAL tube distortion and dynamics if that makes any sence
