Hi, Just want to know if mine is correct as i got it second hand, as follows -
TAD 7025 - EF86 - ECC83-EL84 - EL84 - EZ81 - That is the order of them, is this correct. and what is there function and relevant no V1 V2 V3 etc
I understand that the EL84 are the power tubes and the EZ81 is the rectifier but are the three i have underlined in the correct position ?
Thanks

This is what i found out so i will share with you, may help someone =
V1 = ECC83 Ch 1
V2 = EF 86 Ch 2
V3 = ECC83 P Inverter
V4 = EL 84 Power amp
V5 = EL 84 Power amp
V6 = EZ 81 Rectifier
Changing power amp valves for other make EL 84 is fine and no bias required.
The above is a basic explanation of tube function but will help anyone like me who likes to tube roll

This is strange.
There is a clear sound from the speaker when I tap on the two preamp tubes while the amp is on (two tubes on the far right - 12AX7 and EF86)
What is strange that this only happens when I turn on chanel 2.
Its not audiable on chanel 1.
These are bad tubes that need t be replaced, right?
But why I dont here this on chanel 1

Yep...no problem, although wouldn't you want the gain reduction (or rather taper) to be in V2?
