I noticed a big difference with power tube swap. JJs.

With JJs I had better bass response in the power section. Pre-amp tubes smooth my ht-100 out some. It really isn't the most dynamic feeling amp but it makes up for it with clarity. I can play an open G with the orange channel gain pegged and you can hear it perfectly.

Today i was an hour into it and i noticed the clean channel got harsh and very fuzzy/tinty...i dunno was an ugly distorted tone, so of course i get frustrated and turned it off, half hour later came back and had no sound at all on any channel. pulled the jj's and put stock pres back in and it was alive again. Guess i'll take it to the shop and have them change all tubes.
