Thats really good to hear. At least they are going to help you out and address the problem. There must be another issue besides the one power tube if it is making that much noise. Mine has a little bit of noise on OD2, but it doesnt seem any worse than other high gain amps. Its certainly tolerable on mine. I hope they get you fixed up quickly!

Mines just humming full stop, no guitar noise at all. The power tubes are probably in a push/pull configuration so the dead one won't be pushing or pulling anything if it's dead!

Just replaced all the valves with JJ's. What a difference! Hardly any unwanted noise, even with the gain wacked up!

ps. Valves ordered from Hotrox at 5pm yesterday, arrived 9am this morning!!! They must have almost driven straight here with them!

Changed all of them. 2x el34, 2x ecc83 and 1x ecc82.
I had noticed the pre amp valves glowing very differently and now they all seem to glow the same.

Well my HT was taken to a Blackstar dealer yesterday for the issue to be sorted.

Thanks to Sam from Blackstar, who sorted it our personally.

Pretty good customer support to be honest!
