There wasn't one... so here it is.
Got one just the other day and haven't had much time on it to find a sound. Anyone have any suggestions?
HT-100 Stage head thread....
Hi,
Just a thought and it's not perfect but it's the way I usually start with a new amp.
Set all the knobs to the 12 o'clock position (except the Master Volume of course. I have found that most manufacturers tend to use this position as their 'default' sound. From there you can adjust your tones to suit your liking.
Once you set the tone network as you like it you can then play with the separate gains on each of the channels. Again obviously adjusting the channel and master volume accordingly so you don't give the guy next door a heart attack.
Thirdly, then play with you resonance and presence control. These affect the output stage and acts as a cut off frequency boost and shift ... and brightness control accordingly. The trap for young players is to leave these controls off because their off position actually is hard on ... if you get my meaning.
Of course ... other than that refer to the manual where I believe Blackstar has given some setting suggestions. That's also a good place to start.
Cheers,
Phantom.

I also have a HT-DistX and I've noticed that the ISF on that is a lot more noticeable than on my HT-100... A little concerned I've caught a dodgy one, so to speak.
(Darn typos...)
