Listening to it now. Sounds FANTASTIC!!!! What mic and recording program are you using? I have tried to mic mine and cant get anywhere close to that. Have you done anything to the amp? Tubes or speakers?

Hey Trinity, I really liked that. Great song & great playing.
The amp sounds nice too.
I just started trying to record with my stage 60 this week. Still not getting the sound I'm looking for. I may have to try a different mic.

I guess I am doing it wrong then LOL. I am using pretty much the same set-up. I am using Reaper with a Presonus Firepod interface and an E609. How loud are you running the amp? I did get a good clean tone and light OD sound recorded but I am struggling with the higher gain sounds. It sounds FANTASTIC in the room but I cant capture it in a recording :x

J .... I think your stuff sounds great

I dont record very loud at all
I dimed out the ISF for the lead part and run it at 0 for the rythm stuff

the rhythm track is 3 seperate tracks:
clean in stereo panned center
OD1 panned right
OD2 panned left

the first lead or melody part is a cool trick
recorded both mics to a stereo track
.... and duplicated that track, but the second instance I put auto-tune on
then panned the two tracks hard left and right
makes a cool detune eventide effect with a tiny bit of delay for stereo width

B-dog
try micing the back of the speaker
one of the best sounds I have got from the amp and mics
was a ribbon mic in the vent and a e609 just laid in the back facing up at the speaker basket
