HT50 mkii volume jump between OD voicings

Just received my new HT50 mkii head and the first thing that jumped out at me is when switching from OD1 to OD2 there is a significant volume boost (at least 5db). It is more like you are hitting a solo volume boost than just changing the sound of the gain stages. My old HT40 did not do this and it doesn’t seem like this should be normal. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Thanks
