Hey guys, I've had my HT Stage 60 212 for a while now and have been using the included footswitch with its 8 or 12 pin data cable. I've been looking into getting the HX Effects from Line 6 which has the capability of switching the amp's channel using a jack cable and I noticed that my amp has a jack socket next to the port i use for the Blackstar footswitch.
Anyway, I looked in the manual of the HX Effects and it says I should only use this function with an amp that has "short-to-sleeve" footswitch inputs, otherwise I could damage the amp, the HX Effects or both. Does my amp have "short-to-sleeve" inputs? (I have no idea what that means)
If so, can I use a TRS cable to switch between clean, OD1 and OD2 or would it switch between clean, OD1 and switch the amp's reverb on and off.
Sorry for the long question but I can only seem to find mark ii manuals so I'm hoping someone can help.
Thanks!
Lee.....
