Ohms?
How many ohms is the OEM speaker that comes in the HT-1?
Thanks service! I find it mind blowing that you guys put an 8 inch 16 ohm speaker in these! I also find it incredibly cool that I can plug into a cab with an ohms range between 4 to 16! That's out of site! I have lots of great amps and, this baby is one of my favorites! Blackstar is top notch and classy!

An 8 ohm speaker will be fine. When impedance matching on a tube amp, it's always better to go lower than higher as long as you don't go lower than the minimum. The HT1 is 4 to 16 ohm.
The Blackbird speaker which came in mine is actually an 8 ohm speaker. It it not a bad sounding speaker at all. I did replace it with an 8 ohm Jensen C8R. It sounds even better now. I still have the Blackbird as a backup. The HT-1 is one of the greatest small practice amps ever made. I rate it up there with Fender Champs with 5Y3 rec tubes.
