HT-1R Combo Volume Question

Hi All,

Newbie to tube amps, I'm wondering if its normal on the HT-1R Combo that when the volume knob is at full there is no sound until I roll on some gain?

That sounds right to me assuming you have the gain control all the way off that is, the gain knob controls how much of your guitars signal is entering the amp.
