power cable related query

Ok, the situation is this. I am missing the three pin power cable for my ht1 combo. I know the operational voltage is 230V ac, but should I use a 6 Ampere plugtop based chord or a 6 pampered one? This is fundamentally my question. This should depend on whether the ht1 combo operates within 6ampere or Not. So, here's my 2nd question. what current limit does it operate in? 6 ampere or 16?
