Well, the amp is new, i assume its not out yet. what do you think? I personally think the combo with reverb is a good deal for going places and playing, yet it can be used for direct recordings and plugged into cabinets when required. How will it handle effects pedals with no efx loops, maybe it will be a perfect companion for a multi fx pedal (rp-1000, boss gt-10, tc electronic nova system etc etc)

simply share your thoughts :D

It's a fun little amp I posted a demo up on YouTube:

At 1 Watt I don't think I'd ever use the emulated output because you can literally run this flat out without losing your hearing.

Thats awesome stuff man, great review..how well does it take pedals, especially right in the front without using efx loop.

It's fine with pedals it's just like putting pedals before a preamp on a pre/power amp design. Delay in front is obviously not going to work as well as in an effects loop if your running the gain and volume on 10.

The HT-5 has a good FX Loop and isn't loud when cranked. I run a Boss DD-20 and a Marshall Reflector in mine and it sounds great.

1. How big is this thing ? 12inch by 12inch? Could you squeeze a 10 inch speaker in there?
2. Since theirs no fx loop would a eq up front sound just as good if it had a loop because their isnt a tone stack? Or dose the eq like to be after the gain?
Im getting one when I get some cash

I love what I am hearing about this 'lil darlin'. But, I wrote to the gang in Northampton about when this puppy will be on the streets in the USA & all I got was "in the coming months". Oh man, please if anyone gets an actual date, please post on this forum. I gotta have one of these! Ta much!!

Never mind folks, I am going for the HT-5S instead. Thanks anyway!
