HT1R speaker wires

So i decided to change my speaker. (To a Celestion eight 15)

I unplugged the original however i forgot to take notice of which speaker wire was Connected to each terminal on the speaker. Which one goes where ? I have one red and one black wire. Or maybe it does not matter ?

BLACK = NEGATIVE (-)
RED = POSITIVE (+)

These signs (- +) are marked in speaker next each terminal
