Hey,

Does anyone have any experience using a 1x8 Orange PCC108 Micro Terror cab (8 ohm) with a blackstar HT1R head? From what I've read on these forums HT1s support 4 to 16ohm cabs, so theoretically this should work OK? Apologies for the newbie question. The reason I'm thinking about getting one of these is Im currently very limited on space so this cab might be a good option until I get a bigger place. I would have just got the combo version of the HT1 but managed to pick up a head cheaply (£90). I'll mainly be using the emulated out on the amp anyway but would rather have a speaker connected for safety.

Here are the specs of the cab:

1 X 8 MICRO TERROR PCC108 CABINET
SPEAKER: 8 VOICE OF THE WORLD
POWER HANDLING: 20 WATTS
IMPEDANCE: 8 OHMS

Thanks!
James

Yup, it does but doesn`t sound as good as the HT1R combo .. less breathing space in the cab and the speaker isn`t as good is my guess . My advice would be to skip that and try and find the older 1X10 Blackstar cab, it even had a celestion in
