HT-1RH not hearing any reverb

Picked up a used HT-1RH and it sounds great through an HT112 cab.

The only issue (and probibly why is was cheap) was that the reverb knob does not do anything.

Its not a huge issue (I have a MS-50 pedal with reverb to use) but I was wondering of there is a quick check or fix??

First thing I did when I plugged into an HT1RH was hear there was no reverb, no EQ and it wasn't very loud .......... reason being that Blackstar reversed everything and I`d plugged into the MP3 player socket, I`m used to the inpuit socket being on the left on heads - LOL .
