Modelling effects into Line in??

Advice please
Looking at this amp as want something that sounds "full" at low volume home use.
However I also use a lot of modelling through an iPad running amplitude etc so wondering if it's possible to go from the line out of the iPad interface into the Ht-1? what will it sound like?
Also what does music playback sound like for jamming?
