HT-1HR MKll ac power?

I just acquired the above amplifier. Love it, gives me the a sound I like with out annoying my neighbors. But I have a serious question that I have searched all over for and no matter how I word the question, I am not getting any answers. I intend to retire to a so called 3rd world country in the very near future. Born Canadian & living in Canada.
Now, my question is this. Can I (48yrs a electronics tech) rewire the power transformer from 110Vac to 220Vac? Or do I need to replace the transformer? If so what would be the part number for said transformer ?
