Just check my Ug review above...
then triple the tone sound and clarity you get from the combo .... then u get the 4x8 cab!
which just makes the combo take a back seat...!!!!

How good is the 4x8 cab? I'm wondering the differences between a 1x12" cab and the 4x8". i reckon it would probably be sweet with the HT-5 perhaps?

Yeah its great, sound tone wise, the cleans are lovely, and the gains are nice and heavy through the cab. It does have that full cab sound you get from the big brothers. and i cant have it at full at home far too loud lol
i cant honestly say, about your question, but the common concensus is that these two pair awesomely and i can stand by that..

Its quite bassy actually, at an med volume you can start feeling the ground move.It does have the characterstics of a stack definitly..
Which obviously u didnt get in the combo at all..

Thanks for the quick words on th HT408. After breaking in the Blackbird speaker in my HT1 combo I've been tossing the idea around of getting the 4x8. I love the midrange detail on the combo, so I can only assume that in a larger enclosure would be heavenly (especially matched with the 4x12 for low-end reinforcement).
