HT5R-S / connect to Boss GT 10

Hi, i am awainting shipment of the HT5R-S very soon and have just got the Boss GT-10 effects board. My question is, what would be the best way to connect the GT-10 the the head, straight through the front of the amp, or the send / return out the back. I play at home and have`nt played through amps for a very long time so any feed back will be most welcome. Many Thanks.........

return Boss GT-10 and get good overdrive pedal in front of it and delay in the fx loop

you have several options when I used MFX units I tend to use it in 4 Cable Method(4CM) and sometimes to FX loop return.I had no good results with MFX in the input of amps.

I use the 4cm method with my gt-10 and use it just for effects. sounds awesome.
