HT-5RS and MXR 10 band EQ

I recently purchased an MXR 10 band EQ to use with my HT-5RS. I have heard that the EQ is a great pedal, but it can be quite noisy. I originally put the EQ at the end of my pedal chain, in front of the amp, and it was very noisy and quite annoying. I then put the EQ in the effects loop in between my delay and Ditto Looper. Wow!! Not only is it nice and quiet, but the enhancement it has on the tone of the amp is amazing. I don't know why I waited to buy this pedal.

Especially if you are into metal or hard rock, this pedal is a must. You will not be disappointed with it (just make sure you put it in the effects loop).

I just wanted to make sure to share this with everyone because it really is that good and made a huge difference in the tone of the amp. It really brightened it up and just kicked it up another notch.
