hi, haven't posted in a long time since i first bought the amp two years ago. still love it, btw. so much so that i don't want to part with it. which brings me to my question:

been living the expat life in korea for a while, but now it's time to go back home (states), and i want to bring my korea-bought ht-5hr with me.

i don't know much about electrical stuff, so please help!

here's what it says on the back of the head: 220 - 230V 50/60Hz 40 WATTS

i got me a converter, and it says:
input 110V output 220V 75VA(75W)

will this converter work? that's the most important question. i'd like to be sure so i dont waste hundreds of bucks on shipping what turns out to be a bigass paperweight.

thanks in advance!

It should. The general rule of wattage applies: Make sure you have 1.5x the rating. In this case, the amp draws 40W. So the supply needs to be able to provide at least 60W, which it does (and then some) at 75W.
