Ht5 as poweramp?

Hello,

Noob question:

Can i bypass the preamp of my ht5 head, and connect another preamp to it, but still use the powersection of the ht5, so the ht5 acts as a poweramp?

If so, what is the order/way to connect it?

It's the same as slaving any other poweramp. Connect the external preamp to the Return on the HT5. You might have to put a plug into the Send to enable the effects loop. You might even have to put one on the input as well.
