Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an HT-5 MkII combo. I'm just a hobbyist guitarist, yet I wanted a nice tube amp to play at bedroom levels. Since I already have a Blackstar Fly-3 for practice which sounds amazing, the logical choice was an HT-5. One of the reasons I got this particular amp though was the USB output because I'm also into recording my own tracks.

The problem I have now is that the recording output is way too low. It never seems to go over -18db, unless I turn the amp all the way up to the max, and this ruins the clean tones. The same thing for the OD channel - the recording level is disappointingly low, unless, of course, I turn the volume all the way to 11, something which I don't want.

I'm using the ASIO 4ALL driver in Windows 10 to record into Reaper. I also tried the same setup with Ableton Live Lite, with the same results. Has anyone else encountered this? How did you solve it?

Thank you and have a nice day.
