Just announced, new HT-5 with 12'' speakers and built in Reverb.

Anyone know if the "Blackbird" speaker is worth a damm?
Hopefully it's better than that frisbee we know as the "Rocket 50"

Yea the HT-5 is great
Return it and wait for the 5R to come in lol.

Some great changes including stereo reverb, better distortion channel, a tone nob for the clean channel, a 12" speaker, mp3 input etc.. so worth waiting a bit longer for this to be in stores.

Man this is such an awesome upgrade. Blackstar have clearly listened to customer feedback, and given them what they've wanted.
I wish there were a HT-5 swap plan, trade your old HT-5 for an equivalent new model and a couple hundred bucks!

Does anyone know the release date for these (they mentioned 10 days in the video)? I was just getting ready to buy the HT-5H with the HT-110 cab. I think I will wait

If this was available when I made the decision I might have gone this way.....
So I ended up getting 2 Lopoline 1x12 "TV" cabinets which fit under the HT - 5 perfectly....
The nice thing is you can put whatever speaker you want in them ... so I went with the Eminence Cannabis Rex in the lower cabinet.. and a Celestion BLue in the top cabinet..
