HT-Boost problem.

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help or has any ideas.

I have a Blackstar HT Boost pedal. When plugged in it works perfectly well but after a while gives off a metallic burning smell. The power supply then gets red hot and eventually blows.


It has now killed two PSUs and at Blackstar's £20 a piece I can't afford it to be eating them on a regular basis.


Does anyone know what could be causing this.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Ya mine has a faint metalic smell if pluged in for a while .. kinda weird no air vents.

Are you saying the power supply lead, the bulky part with the transformer gets red?

Thats not good
