Amp settings for HT-DIST

Where do I find advice on how to set up my combo amp for use with my new HT-DIST pedal? The instruction book has advice on settings for the peday, but not where to start with your amp (I have an all-valve amp). I am assuming the clean channel with half-way settings for tone, etc. I am guessing that a higher clean volume will allow...s the HT-DIST to interact with the power valves more.

I would guess:

• Combo set on clean with neutral tone controls;

• Clean volume as high as I can get away with;

• Adjust the audible volume with the volume control on my pedal.

Any comments?
