Just picked up a wonderful used ht boost and noticed the viewing window isnt a vent just a window.
The plastic is underneath and is removable.
Wondering if anyone has removed it.
Seems kinda weird they didnt put any vents in it.
Removing Plastic under the Tube Viewing Window
My advice leave it lol !!
seriously though last week someone knocked a drink over my board at a gig
right onto my Ht boost luckily no issues, now had the plastic been removed
it would have gone straight in the slots and onto the valve before I would have
had a chance to wipe it so better safe than sorry!!!

That is good advice thanks , but i did remove it a few days ago lol.
If i dont spill anything on it I assume my boost will work and sound better.
All the other tube pedals I recall have some sort of ventilation .
Seriously though it gets uber hot in there if its on for a while. Sometimes im using it for 2 + hours and 300 volts makes up quite a heat storm.
