Hey guys, I currently have a transistor amp (Roland cube 80x) So I have been looking into blackstar pedals for a good valve type sound to add to it. I play mainly classic rock and blues but no metal. So I'm not bothered about getting any metal tones, Just some pure rock and crunch tones... But yeah so I've decided on either the Drive or Dual, But just wondering which will give me the best sound (Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix etc...) Obviously the 2 channels on the dual seems good but is it a better sound for me or not? I don't really know the difference between a distortion pedal or overdrive pedal so I don't know which one will be better...
Thanks for any replies!

i think the dual is the best option!
two channels, one being more "overdriven" and the other one being a harsh rock n roll tone for solos.
just what you will always need to play hard rock
