fresh tube in ht-BOOST

Just thought I´d ad my two cents.....

Recently been noticing a drop in the boost of my pedal so I refreshed the AX7/ECC83 with a newre one and voila...back in business.

Odly enough it was the same tube that I had in my Blackstar 100 pre-amp, that I changed to JJ´s shortly after purchasing it, that was put in and although it was of the same sovtek brand...the tube and stamp varied.

soundwise it´s hard to tell if it made a difference but so you all know if your pedal starts to lack.....pop in a fresh tube!!

p.s. can recommend not cheating and that you go in from the backside and not through the smaller grated viewing hatch on the top....the plastic and soderings are all kinda "china-flimsy" and it wouldn´t take much pressure to do some real damage.
