I've just bought a Dist X pedal because it was cheap. I also have a TVP30 amp. I have a couple of questions.
1, when I play it through the clean channel in my room I have to have the amp volume at 50% just to hear it. When I switch the pedal off I have to turn the amp down to 25% 'cos it's too loud. Is thisnormal? It doesn't seem logical.
2, if I put the pedal through OD2 channel (just curious) the signal drops off to nothing. Why is this?
Cheers.

How do you have the pedal running? it sounds to me like your plugging guitar into the input then emulated output to the amp. The emulated output signal is very quiet because its for recording and the reason its pretty much silent on od2 is because the noise gate. I would double check your going from the output to your amp and not the emulated output.
