Where in the pedal chain?

Hey all,
Just ordered a HT Dual. Want to use it both as a pedal in front of my amp, but also with the emulated speaker output for practices. Does the emulated speaker output need to be last in my pedal chain, i.e. direct from the HT to the desk to get the best sound or can it be before other pedals like chorus, delay etc.
