I just bought one of these used on eBay, and I'm really liking it, but I'm not sure I can detect how the "Dwell" knob is effecting the mix. What's more, the Dwell light (which I understand is supposed to change color as it gets more saturated), never changes.

I'm curious if I'm missing something (like the valve needs to heat up for a while, etc.), or if I perhaps got a defective pedal.

Thanks for any insights!

Hi all,
yesterday, during rehearsals, my HT-Reverb pedal stopped working for a while.
No effect, even with the footswitch on, just the bypassed signal.
Had to unplug and replug DC jack from DC inlet and restarted working.
What happened?
Regards,
Cesare

I have recently bought one; I found that if you connect it via the effects loop (Blackstar Series 1 100 EL34) at the recommended -10 you can't drive the dwell control into amber; if you change the effects loop to +4 (not recommended) or put the unit in the front of the amp then you can drive the dwell into amber and red and hear the difference! Unfortunately, having reverb in the front sounds fine with the clean channel, but not so good with any of the drive channels!
