Hello, I just found this forum. Loving my HT-5RS, but the cabinets, not so much. I wish I could mod them into closed-back style, but since they're MDF, they might not even be worth worrying about. Any suggestions to enhance these cabs? (I probably should have just gotten the head in the first place) :?

Liking the tone of the Orange cab with Vintage 30 better than the BlackBirds.

What about that small Marshall amp? Does i sound good? I'm thinking of buying HT-5 or some small tube Marshall, like DSL-15..

It's an older Marshall solid-state practice combo. Yes, i sounds good, but nothing like a 12" in a closed-back cab.

It was mainly the "open-back" design that I had a problem with, but I sold this HT-5R mini stack. It wasn't worth upgrading as the entire rig was built with MDF construction. Now it's time to acquire something different, perhaps something British this time. (as opposed to Korean British)
