Hi,
I have just bought the above amp and run the following pedals from guitar to amp:
Wah, tuner, distortion, OD, boost, chorus, flanger, phaser, delay.
Previously I used to run this set up through a fender hot rod deville using the clean channel only.
Now with the blackstar I am really loving the amps OD channels. However, with my pedal board going guitar straight into the amp, the tone seems very muddy and the boost pedal appears to have minimal effect now.
I was wondering if I dropped the OD and distortion pedals, and then ran guitar into Wah and tuner, then ran that into fx loop followed by the remaining pedals then out of loop into amp would this improve tone and the effect of the boost pedal?
Cheers
Using FX loop on HT60 Stage combo
I have the same amp, i would suggest this setting.
guitar>>tuner>>>vah/vol>>> Od/dist>>>noise gate (if you have)>>>> amp imput
Then from FX send:
Send>>> chain of effects (mods >>>delay >>>reverbs)>>> BOOST>>>> FX return.
I run my stage 60 with a Line 6 M9 through de FX loop, if i put the m9 in front of the amp sounds dead.
Hope this help
